Only the hirer of the vehicle as mentioned in the agreement is authorized to drive the vehicle, as well as the person(s) mentioned in the agreement as ¨additional driver(s)¨. In case there is an accident and the driver is not mentioned in the agreement as hirer and/or as ¨additional driver(s)¨ and consequently is not authorized to drive the vehicle, the insurance becomes invalid (lapses) and the hirer is completely responsible for all direct and indirect loss. Fee for an ¨additional drive¨ is US$ 5, = per day or US$ 35, = per week.
In case you accept the Extra Insurance, your responsibility for damage to the hired is US$ 300, = for cars and US$ 1,500,= for wranglers and vans. The extra insurance does not cover the following situations: ¨One Way¨ accidents, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, speeding, hitting rocks or stones, off road driving, theft, joy riding, damages to third parties exceeding US$ 50.000, =. If you do not accept the Extra Insurance, you will be held responsible for the total of loss. If you do total loss, the customer will be provided with a replacement car after all damages are paid full.
In case the driver drives faster than the speed limit, the insurance becomes invalid. You must slow down in case of a wet road surface.

NATURAL POOL IS NOT ALLOWED. Driving off-road and on white sand is not allowed. Any damage to the vehicle due to off road or white sand is for customer´s account. Towing cost $250,=.
The customer is at all times directly responsible in case of theft or joy riding, there is no insurance that covers this. The customer will be provided with a replacement car after all damages are paid.
In case of an accident call the police at Tel. 100 and our office at Tel. 735-4999. Our employee will help you to obtain the necessary information. An accident report must be filled out.
We will help you between office hours if you have a flat tire near town.
Return the vehicle at the local time as agreed. If there is any change about time, date or place notify us at Cel. 735-4999, one hour at least before.
Excessive dirty vehicles (e.g. white sand, mud) are subject to a cleaning fee of $150,= .
The customer is at all times directly responsible to Speed Car Rental for all damages, including water damage for convertible vehicles. The customer declares to pay these damages before leaving the island.
The customer gives Speed Car Rental the power of attorney to use any credit card or company card if necessary, to pay the damage.
I understand that declining the C.D.W. or not acting in accordance with the rental agreement and the additional conditions. I am responsible for any and all loss, damage, towing, etc. of the vehicle regardless of the question of who is to blame.
My responsibility will not exceed the full value of the vehicle at the time it is lost or damaged plus actual towing, storage and survey fees and a reasonable charge for time loss.
Customer understand that any agreement, I have with Dinners, Discovers, Visa, MasterCard or my insurance in reference to the covering for damage, towing, loss, etc. to the rented vehicle is between me and Dinners, Discover, Visa, MasterCard my insurance.
At all times I will be directly responsible to Speed Car Rental for all damages, towing, loss, etc. of the rented vehicle and hereby I authorize Speed Car Rental to charge my Credit Card with the respective amount to pay. The customer will be provided with a replacement car or refund in case of mechanical problem.

In case of an accident were the hire of the vehicle is at fault, and is under the age of 23 years. He/She is directly responsible for an amount of $1000,= for the No-Claim fee.
During the weekend or Holidays, we are not able to have a quotation of damage. In this case the customer will have to sign the credit card for an estimate amount of the damage. As soon we have all the necessary documentation, we will send an e-mail to the customer and we will charge the credit card. All documentation will be sent by email to the customer. Survey cost is separately.
