Which car to rent in Aruba depends first on your suitcases, then on your seats. At Speed Car Rental the Nissan March (4 seats) and the Nissan Versa, Hyundai Sonata and Chevy Trax (5 seats) take 2 suitcases each, and the 12 seat Hyundai Starex van takes 4. All six cars are automatic. For 3 days or more they cost $35 to $110 a day in low season (16 April to 14 December) and $80 to $180 a day in high season (15 December to 15 April). Taxes and fees are added.

11 to 4 people with up to 2 suitcases: the Nissan March. It is our lowest priced car and takes 2 suitcases. With 4 people every seat is taken.
25 people, or 4 who want a spare seat: the Nissan Versa, Juke, Sonata or Trax. The Versa is the lowest priced of the four, from $45 a day in low season for 3 days or more. The Versa, Sonata and Trax take 2 suitcases, the same as the March; for the Juke, ask us.
33 or 4 suitcases: the Hyundai Starex, or two cars. The Versa, Sonata and Trax take 2 suitcases, the same as the March, so they add a seat, not luggage room. The Starex van takes 4 suitcases, from $110 a day in low season for 3 days or more. If two of you will drive, two Nissan March cars also take 4 suitcases, for $70 a day in total at the same rate, before taxes and fees. 46 to 12 people: the Hyundai Starex. One vehicle with 12 seats, but room for only 4 suitcases, so a full van needs to pack light or add a second car for the bags. Up to 8 people also fit in two Nissan March cars, $70 a day together in low season for 3 days or more against $110 for the van, if two of you will drive.

No. At Speed Car Rental, off-road driving, driving on white sand and driving to the Natural Pool are not allowed in any of our cars, SUVs included, so the same rules apply whichever car you choose. If you prefer a higher seat, the Nissan Juke and Chevy Trax sit higher than our sedans.

For 3 days or more they are $45 to $55 a day in low season (16 April to 14 December) and $100 to $110 a day in high season (15 December to 15 April).
